Lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company

After our long walk to the historic section of Charleston we decided we were hungry. We found Bubba Gump Shrimp Company near Market Street. It was really neat to be reminded of Forest’s and his mama’s wisdom like “Stupid is as Stupid does” and “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get” and “You have to do the best with what God gave you”.

We ate outside at a little table and they had these license plates on the tables, if you were fine and didn’t need anything, you left the tag up that said “Run Forest Run”

but if you needed help you flipped it to “Stop Forest Stop” and Forest’s helpers would be right with you to take care of whatever you needed.

The drinks and dessert menu was on a ping pong paddle. The had lots of fancy drinks and some desserts that looked so delicious, but after feeding us so full with the main course, we just couldn't eat any dessert.

Folks were sure friendly there. The food was pretty good too!

Well that is all I have to say about that.
